Seti I his father is Ramesses I in 19th Dynasty , his throne name is “Men-Maat-Ra” and his birth name is “Seti-Mery-En-Ptah” and his Wife is “Tuya”.

Seti I Tomb

This tomb is one the deepest ,best preserved .lively colors and reliefs in the Valley of the Kings . Its about 100 meters long to the burial chamber and beyond that another corridor has been cut 100 meters deeper into the rock. The latter is closed due to its poor state of preservation . It was discovered in 1817 by Giovanni Belzoni ans found plundered . The mummy was discovered in the cache , and it is now in Cairo Museum . The first corridor is decorated with scenes representing Seti I before the falcon-headed sun god Ra-Horakhty , the sun disc bearing a scarab and ram headed and inscriptions praise the sun god .

The figures of Isis , Nephtys and reliefs have not been completed . The corrections on the drawing are still visible . The first pillared hall has four square pillars decorated with scenes representing the king standing before different deities . The walls are decorated with scenes from the book of of Gates . On the left corner the walls decorated with the four Negroes . To the right as an unfinished room with two pillars decorated with scenes drawn in red and corrected in black . The walls of the next corridor covered with scenes from the opining of the mouth ceremony . The adjoining antechamber decorated with figures of the king before Osiris , Isis , Hathor ,Anubis and others . The vaulted ceiling of the burial chamber has a beautiful astronomical .

3-Second passage is decorated with scenes from the book of Imyduat and litany of Ra .

4-Third passage is decorated with scenes from the book of Imyduat .

5-Well shaft decorated with scenes of the king before deities .

6-First pillared hall is decorated with scenes from the book of Gates , and the pillar is decorated with king before various deities .

7-Side chamber with two pillars are decorated with unfinished scenes from the book of Imyduat .

8-Lower passage are decorated with ceremony of opining the mouth .

9-Antechamber decorated with king before various deities .

10-Burial chamber and side rooms have scenes from the book of Gates , and book of Imyduat .
